The Concept
There is a strange silence before sunrise. The city is still asleep. The roads are empty. The world feels paused.
I wasn’t chasing a perfect photograph. I was chasing a feeling. The forecast suggested fog, so I packed my camera and drove. There was no guarantee anything would happen.
When I arrived, the familiar landscape had transformed. Buildings disappeared. The horizon vanished. The ordinary became mysterious.
That is why I photograph. Not to capture what exists. But to show people something they may have walked past without noticing.
Behind The Shot
The forecast predicted fog. I drove before sunrise without knowing whether anything would appear. The photograph was not planned. It was discovered.
